ARTS & CRAFTS BUNGALOW

The garden pictured here is small- no more than three
hundred square feet.  It offers the owners four season appeal.
Fall color creeping in.

One of our favorite materials is stone- even better- reclaimed stone.
Parts of these drystonewalls are six feet in height.

The challenge here was to transform a bland concrete entry porch
into an inviting entrance.  We also added a step in order to reduce the
step riser height and make a more comfortable entrance.
We matched the stone facade, and used a rich colored brick to
both contrast the stone and complement the front door.
The brick is produced locally in Phoenixville.
 A generous landing greets guests.
The plantings cascade over the edges, and provide bold
seasonal appeal.
